Local Tourists Remain Flock to Ragunan Zoo

Entering the five days after Eid, Saturday (4/5), local tourists remain flock to Ragunan Zoo, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta.

3,193 people bought ticket via online and 50,327 people via offline

Ragunan Zoo Public Relation Head, Wahyudi Bambang, said there were 53,520 people visited the site up to today's noon. The number is higher compared to Friday (3/4) noon by 26,505 people.

"3,193 people bought ticket via online and 50,327 people via offline," he said.

14,485 Tourists Visit Seribu Islands

Wahyudi explained the most visitor was on Wednesday (4/2) by 102,928 people.

"We have prepared 20 parking lots to accommodate five thousand cars and 20 thousand motorcycles," he explained.

He added that his side opens the zoo from 7 AM to 4 PM up to April 12.

During this Eid holiday, Wahyudi continued, his side provides a number of entertainment programs for visitors. Those are feeding time or feeding animals and keeper talk or animal knowledge education led by experienced guides.

One of visitors, Bagas (34), admitted he went Ragunan Zoo since the location is near with his house in Jagakarsa and the entrance ticket is affordable.

"We visit the zoo almost every year," he admitted.
